Would you believe that virtually every one of our customers has a primary Cisco registered partner with whom they work on a regular basis? It's true. And, even though some of our customers are among Cisco's largest (including some Gold Partners), they routinely turn to Multi-Link - an independent reseller of new and refurbished equipment - for critical requirements.
Why? Maybe it's to locate "hard-to-find" new or used equipment parts. Maybe it's for an item, backlogged at the manufacturer, with an extended shipping lead time of 6-8+ weeks. Or, maybe budget constraints make new equipment cost prohibitive. Whatever the customer reason, they need an "independent" supplier who is not bound to the manufacturer's distribution chain, too often a hindrance to resellers.
New customers often have concerns about refurbished equipment, and we welcome the opportunity to assuage those fears. Long ago, we listened when our customers asked for a warranty that was better than Cisco's, one that might even make them consider alternatives to Cisco maintenance. We responded with our standard one year warranty. All refurbished equipment is tested by fully-trained technicians and packaged professionally for safe shipment, worldwide.
Let's face it. We understand that, when considering refurbished equipment, it's not enough for us to be "good." We must get it right - the first time.
While we strive to be the best, we are not alone among Cisco equipment suppliers and that's a good thing! Our independence from the manufacturer allows us to work with not only other independent resellers but also with an international base of Cisco Resellers. It's a unique position, not afforded to partners with registered status, allowing us to offer customers a virtually endless supply of both new and refurbished parts to fulfill a pressing requirement.
For many Multi-Link customers, putting equipment under maintenance is a matter of protocol, a company requirement. Others might have some flexibility with respect to exactly which equipment requires full coverage, while others might only cover their most critical ’Äûcore’ă network equipment. If we need to work with your primary registered partner to help you, we'll do so. We also work with our own select partners, those with a proven track record in maintenance.
After working with Multi-Link for a length of time, you might even take the path of many of our best customers and consider "stocking for spares," removing maintenance on certain equipment in your network.
