Compatible with Cisco 12012 router built around a high-speed switching fabric that is scalable from 5 to 60 Gbps, the GSR12-SFC is the switch fabric card that carries the user traffic between line cards or between the RP and the line cards. While the 12012 router supports Internet Protocol (IP) -based local-area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs), a new or used GSR12-SFC maximizes bandwidth and switching capacity when you install three pre-owned or new surplus GSR12-SFC switch fabric cards in the lower card cage.
