Cisco 3845 Integrated Services Router provides enhanced investment protection through increased performance and modularity with its four High-Speed WAN Interface Card Slots and enhanced Network Module Slot. The Cisco 3845 offers Optional Layer 2 switching support with PoE as an option and supports the Cisco EtherSwitch module with 36-ports (NMD-36ESW). The Integrated GE ports with copper and fiber support allows the CISCO3845 to support over 90 existing and new modules as well as the majority of existing VWICs, VICs, WICs, NMs, and AIMs. Wire-speed performance is guaranteed for concurrent services such as voice and security, and advanced services are supported at full T3/E3 rates.
