The Cisco NM-16AM-V2 is an Analog Modem Network Module with V.92 that serves as the analog modem network module for the modular access routers family of routers. The NM-16AM-V2 terminates 16 analog modem connections through POTS interfaces. An eight-modem version is also available (NM-8AM-V2). This network module supports basic telephone service connections on Cisco 2600XM series routers (up to 16 remote analog users), Cisco 3600 series (up to 96 remote analog users on the Cisco 3660), and Cisco 3700 series (up to 32 and 64 remote analog users respectively on the Cisco 3725 and 3745), and allows for standard telephone connections on RJ-11 connectors.
