Cisco Systems' NM-8A/S is an eight-port asynchronous/synchronous (async/sync) network module that provides async connectivity with speeds up to 115.2 kbps, and sync connectivity with speeds up to 128 kbps. The NM-8A/S uses the 60-pin "5-in-1" cables, similar to those used on the Cisco 2500 and Cisco 7000 series routers and is supported on the Cisco 2600, 2600XM, 2691, 3620, 3631, 3640, 3660, 3725, and 3745 platforms.
