As the 7206VXR with NPE-G2 includes 3GigE/FE/E Ports and IP SW, the 7206VXR/NPE-G2 is a higher performing solution with NPE-G2 Network Processing Engine. The Cisco 7200VXR solutions with NPE-G2 also offers more flexibility through support of the port adapter jacket card that makes use of the I/O controller card slot on the 7200VXR chassis and supports high-bandwidth point port adapters including the high-performing encryption module C7200-VSA (with NPE-G2).
