The Cisco CHAS-7505 is the Cisco 7505 Chassis and AC Power which was end-of-lifed by the manufacturer in June 2004. In the Cisco 7505, the CI mounts directly to the non-interface processor side of the backplane, behind the backplane cover. Features of the CHAS-7505 include rack density, a modular system, redundant route processor, and front-to-back airflow for optimal cooling.
