The OSR-7609-AC, or 7609 Chassis, SUP2/MSFC2, 2500W AC P/S, 512MB DRAM, along with the OSR-7609-DC, are no longer supported by Cisco. Although Cisco encourages customers to migrate to the Cisco 7609 Router because the Cisco 7609 router delivers design improvements incorporating: redundant, tiered-speed fan trays for greater airflow; increased power options for future power-intensive hardware; and improved cable management for dense, cable-intensive configurations, the OSR-7609-AC remains in wide use globally and we continue to carry the OSR-7609-AC both new and refurbished for customers who are not ready to upgrade. For those who would like to upgrade, we carry both replacement parts (7609-AC-BUN or 7609-SUP720-PS) new and refurbished as well.
