Designed for use with the Cisco Secure PIX Firewall series, a pre-owned or new surplus PIX-VPN-ACCEL IPsec Hardware VPN Accelerator Card (VAC) fits in a PCI slot inside the PIX chassis, and encrypts data. Easy to implement, a new or refurbished PIX-VPN-ACCEL increases security and makes it possible to send DES or 3DES encrypted data at high speed while still providing the full range of perimeter security services available from the Cisco Secure PIX Firewall.
