The Stackwise technology which is a major feature of the WS-C3750G-24TS-S, combines up to nine Catalyst 3750 switches into one logical unit using special stack interconnect cables. Behaving as a single unit, the stack is managed easily by a master switch. The Catalyst 3750G-24TS Switch is equipped with advanced failover mechanisms that support the highest levels of software reliability and stackable resiliency.

The WS-C3750G-24TS-S boasts 4 SFP Gigabit Ethernet ports, twenty-four 10/100/1000 ports, Standard Multilayer Image Software with basic RIP and static routing functionality, enterprise-class intelligent services, and of course the 1.5 RU stackable, multilayer switch. This product is able to be upgraded to full dynamic IP routing. It also comes, like all members of the Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series, with Cisco Network Assistant—a management application designed to make administration tasks less complex with a user-friendly interface. The addition of the Cisco Network Assistant allows the WS-C3750G-24TS-S to be managed by less-skilled administrators, giving them the assistance they need to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot the system.
