The Cisco 4000W-DC is the 4000-watt power supply for the Cisco 7600 and Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series specifically designed for DC environments. The 4000W-DC power supply is a variable-output supply, scalable from 2700 watts (with two inputs active) to 4000 watts (with three inputs active). Advantages of the Cisco 4000W-DC include: choice of left or right grounding lugs, allowing easy grounding; shrouded pawl switch area; industry-standard dual post terminals; terminal design that facilitates cable entry from left or right side; NEBS Level 3 compliant power supply (Network Equipment Building Standards) on the Cisco Catalyst 6509 and 6513 Chassis Series; and equally sized, multiple inputs, which allow lower fusing requirements and maintain consistent wire gauge between 4000W and 2700W output configurations. The 4000W-DC is compatible with the Cisco 7600 Series, 7609, and the 7613.
