It is one of two router bundles for the 2851 model router, and the more basic of the two. The more robust features come on the CISCO2851-HSEC/K9 which boasts the same features as the CISCO2851-SEC/K9 but also includes AIM-VPN/SSL-2. The CISCO2851-SEC/K9 reliably delivers security features such as: VPN, Cisco IOS Software-based intrusion prevention systems (IPSs), URL filtering, firewall, and infrastructure security services over numerous WAN access technologies.
