The Cisco AIM-VPN/HPII-PLUS, or DES/3DES/AES VPN Encryption/Compression, is an Encryption Module supported by Cisco IOS Release 12.3(5), 12.3(6), and 12.3(7)T for the Cisco 3660 and 3745 routers. Restrictions for the AIM-VPN/HPII-PLUS should be noted. RSA manual keying is not supported and to achieve maximum benefit from hardware-assisted IP Payload Compression Protocol (IPPCP), it is suggested that prefragmentation be disabled if IP compression with the LZS algorithm is enabled on IP Security (IPSec) sessions.
