Designed to provide consistent network management, a new or used IGX-URM is the universal router module front card for the Cisco IGX 8400 series switches. The Cisco IGX 8400 Universal Router Module provides native support for a full suite of IP services, including VoIP. Because a new surplus or pre-owned IGX-URM merges ATM switching with IP routing in one box, it reduces the cost of network equipment and simplifies the network, eliminating the need to maintain separate networks. Equipped with a high-performance RISC architecture, a new or refurbished IGX-URM provides up to 85 Kpps of fast switching capability or up to 8.5 Kpps of process switching capabilities. Note: a back card is required.
