The CISCO2801-HSEC/K9, or Cisco 2801 Security Bundle with IOS Advanced IP Services Image, AIM-VPN/SSL-2, 64 MB Flash/256 MB DRAM, 10 User SSL License, is one of eight Security Bundles with Security Bundle with IOS Advanced Security Image designed for the Cisco 2800 Series Routers, designed specifically for the Cisco 2801 Router. It is the more advanced, increased-feature high performing option for this router. The limited security bundle, the CISCO2801-SEC/K9, is equipped with IOS Advanced Services Image and 64 MB Flash/256 MB DRAM, but lacks the AIM-VPN/SSL-2, and 10 User SSL License.

The Cisco 2801-HSEC/K9 router security bundle, includes a very important feature: the AIM-VPN/SSL (a high performing Encryption Module). Specifically, it includes the AIM-VPN/SSL-2 which is the proper module of three for this specific router. All security bundles, including the more basic version that lacks the Encryption Module, deliver security features such as Cisco IOS Software-based intrusion prevention systems (IPSs), firewall, URL filtering, VPN, and infrastructure security services over numerous WAN access technologies.
